Go Daddy Girl 'Driving' On & Off Indianapolis 500 Track

May 25, 2011 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Indianapolis 500 television viewers are in for a special treat this year. It's the 100th anniversary of the Indianapolis 500. Go Daddy is sponsoring the broadcast for a fifth consecutive year. Danica Patrick is driving the Go Daddy No. 7 … starting in the inside of the ninth row after an exciting "Bump Day" qualifying drama. And while some speculate about what Danica Patrick's driving future may be … one thing is for sure, the Go Daddy Girl will be driving Internet traffic with her new GoDaddy-esque TV commercial set to debut during the classic race broadcast on ABC TV this Sunday.

Go Daddy, the world's largest Web host provider and domain name registrar,, is known for its risqué commercials featuring racing's most popular female driver. A recent example is The Contract, which featured Danica and drove more Web traffic than any Go Daddy commercial in Super Bowl history.

The storyline for the new Go Daddy commercial, to be unveiled during the Indianapolis 500 broadcast, picks up where The Contract leaves off. The Go Daddy Girl is faced with performing an edgy script proposed by her compromising agent in the ad titled, Pitches. There will also be an online continuation of the story at www.GoDaddy.com where viewers can "see what happens next" in the Internet Only version.

"This commercial is fun, edgy and slightly inappropriate - it's about as GoDaddy-esque as it gets," said Go Daddy CEO and Founder Bob Parsons who is the architect of the company's edgy and incredibly effective advertising campaigns. "This ad starts in a garage and ends up … well, it's safe to say it puts Danica in an environment few people have ever seen her in."

Parsons tapped Danica to join Go Daddy back in 2006, after seeing her make history as the first woman to lead at the Indianapolis 500. As a Go Daddy Girl, Danica later became the first woman to win an IndyCar race. At last year's Indy 500, Parsons stood in Danica's Andretti Autosport pit box the entire race and was there to hug her as she jumped out of the car to celebrate her come-from-behind 6th place finish.

"Bob was my good luck charm at last year's Indy," Danica smiled. "As far as my new Go Daddy commercial goes, viewers are going to be guaranteed a "sweet ride" and that's all I'm going to reveal. You'll just have to tune in to ABC TV and then check out GoDaddy.com Sunday!"

Watch "The Indianapolis 500 broadcast presented by GoDaddy.com" Sunday. Live coverage begins at Noon ET on ABC TV.
