Green Energy Web Host GreenGeeks Accounces Canadian and European VPS Locations
Green energy web host GreenGeeks has announced the launch of new Canadian and European Virtual Private Server (VPS) locations as part of its suite of services. GreenGeeks, which has headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware, United States, was established in 2006. Aside from VPS options, the company offers web and reseller hosting, and dedicated server options that are “scalable and eco-friendly” and underpinned by “24/7/365 support, 99.9% uptime guarantee, and a 30-day money-back guarantee”. The company’s green credentials are impressive as it adds three times the energy it uses back into the United States’ national grid.

GreenGeeks’ latest news underscores its investments in a web hosting platform that caters to individuals, bloggers, small businesses, and web designers/developers in over 150 countries. Whereas previously GreenGeeks VPS customers were limited to hosting in the United States, the opening of Canadian and European datacenter locations (in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and Amsterdam, Netherlands, respectively) means its customers in those areas can now benefit from the company’s managed VPS hosting line.

“After much demand, It’s exciting to be able to bring our managed VPS hosting service to customers in Canada and Europe,” explained GreenGeeks’ COO, Kaumil Patel. “Our customers can now provision our full suite of services, in any of our active datacenters,” he added.
