November 22, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Hosted Microsoft Exchange providers Cobweb Solutions (http//www.cobweb.com) and USA.NET (http://www.usa.net) have partnered to deliver next generation messaging services, it was announced this week. Cobweb Solutions is Europe’s leading Microsoft Hosted Exchange and collaboration services provider and USA.NET holds a similar position in North America.
The partnership will “leverage the companies' combined industry expertise, proprietary intelligence, and research and development capabilities” to enable them to accelerate delivery of new messaging and communication services including “advanced security, mobility, Unified Messaging (UM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)”.
Discussions between the two organizations began through their participation in Microsoft Corp's Hosted Messaging and Collaboration (HMC) and Exchange Technology Adoption Programs (TAP) for Hosting Partners. The TAPs program is designed to “enable Microsoft's leading partners to more quickly evaluate and adopt Microsoft technologies and deliver innovative new solutions for the benefit of customers”.
