Yap Selects Managed Hosting Provider Hosted Solutions

(http://www.yapme.com) has selected managed hosting provider Hosted Solutions (http://www.hostedsolutions.com) for a “multi-year agreement”, the company announced yesterday. The company is “centralizing” its IT infrastructure at Hosted Solutions’ SAS 70 type II certified carrier grade data center facility in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.
Yap has developed a state-of-the-art speech recognition platform that “converts anything anyone says into text, instantaneously”. This solution is utilized by unified messaging, web services applications and other Web 2.0 developments. Hosted Solutions will support Yap’s expansion efforts by providing Hi-Touch managed backups, network services, dedicated hardware, and SPLA licensing. Hosted Solutions will offer 100% network availability to maintain extreme response times and low latencies.
