Web Host Hosted Solutions Chosen for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
March 10, 2009 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web host Hosted Solutions (www.hostedsolutions.com) has been chosen as the official IT infrastructure for the 143rd build for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, it was reported recently. The company, which bills itself as “the East Coast’s premier data center and managed services provider” will provide services to support the official website and central registration database for ABC Television’s Emmy-award winning hit reality show.
The show will feature the northeastern area of North Carolina and provide a “deserving family with an extreme home makeover”. A number of companies and volunteers will gather in Edenton, North Carolina, USA to “implement an intense, concentrated one-week build of a new home that will make a miracle happen for a deserving family”. To support the show, Hosted Solutions is donating a fully redundant infrastructure consisting of fully managed firewalls, load-balancing, server and storage infrastructure supported by an enterprise class data center and multi honed bandwidth across multiple tier 1 providers.
