Contegix has moved to a new data center. The company, whose services include cloud computing, colocation and managed hosting, has made the move to "accommodate continued growth". In January of this year the company moved its headquarters to 210 North Tucker in St. Louis and the company has now moved its entire St. Louis operations to the same location - the Digital Realty Trust building.
Contegix, which caters to companies like Dell, eBay, Electronic Arts, United Airlines, Starbucks, VMware, and Atlassian, has done a "major upgrade" of its data center with changes designed to benefit its customer base. The upgrade has covered the data center's infrastructure and network, and with the enhancements, the facility has become the only N+1 rated data center in the area. It offers a range of benefits including a generator which provides 2500 kW of N+1 backup power, multiple electricity modules "configured in an N+1 redundancy", and N+2 redundancy Cooling Room AC units, N+1 cooling towers, and condenser water loop.
