HostPapa has been given the distinction of being one of Canada’s fastest growing businesses. HostPapa, which was established in 2006, has its headquarters in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. The company offers a wide range of web hosting services including a number of cloud-based offerings. It manages around 500,000 websites and it is one of the few companies to have gone fully ‘green’ by utilizing “100% green renewable energy” for its operations. The company was named in the 27th Annual PROFIT 500 list.
The PROFIT 500 list considers companies based of revenue growth over 5 years rather than profitability. The list “profiles the country’s most successful growth companies”. It is managed by Canadian Business. Established in 1928 and with a readership of 800,000, it bills itself as “the longest-serving, best-selling and most-trusted business publication” in Canada. Its magazine and website PROFIT and PROFITguide.com are directly responsible for the PROFIT 500 list. They cater to small and mid-sized businesses and Canadian entrepreneurs working “across a vast array of economic sectors”.
HostPapa’s inclusion in the list is, it believes, based on its efforts to ensure “customer happiness”. These efforts have most recently included offering customers a “free 30-minute one-on-one support session” with support staff that enable customers to “address any concerns or technical challenges” they might be encountering.
