Web Werks) has won the 2017 round of the ‘Great Indian Workplace Awards’ (GIWA). Web Werks has headquarters in Mumbai, India and was established in 1996. The company is a carrier neutral data center services provider with 5 Tier III and Tier IV data centers, including facilities in the United States. The company’s services include VPS hosting, cloud services, dedicated servers and collocation, which it offers to a global customer base of around 5,000 individuals and organizations. It is also an ICANN registered domain services provider. Web Werks won its most recent award at the Workplace Culture Summit 2017 held last month in Mumbai, India.
Conducted by business conference company UBS Transformance, GIWA recognizes “organizations that build a friendly and engaging work environment for their employees to make them feel recognized”. Web Werks was recognized for its ‘sociability’, receiving a 95% positive response from company’s 800+ dedicated technical staff. The awards also involve an “evaluation of CEO survey”. Web Werks’ latest honor is its second in 2017. It received a ‘Retailer of the Year’ award for 'Best Cloud Data Centers and Internet Exchange' early in the year.
