Web Hosting Provider Hostway Releases Value-added Domain Name Products and Launches Domain Name Registration Sale
March 15, 2007 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) Web hosting provider Hostway (http://www.hostway.com/) has released two value-added domain name products and launched a domain name registration sale, the company announced yesterday. The products are designed to protect businesses' domain names and private information. The domain name registration sale introduces considerable savings on domain name registrations and transfers.
Hostways domain name products are WhoisProtector Lite and DomainGuard. WhoisProtector Lite masks domain name owners' private contact information listed in the public Whois database, leaving only administrative and technical contact email addresses. DomainGuard password-protects domain name settings to ensure only the original owner can authorize changes. Both are added for an additional annual fee.
"Businesses accounted for 70% of all domain name registrations over the past year," explained Hostway's Director of Global Domain Name Registration, Mr. Robert Birkner. "Hostway offers them domain names plus everything they need to manage their online identities at prices that even small businesses can afford."
Hostway Corporation offers web hosting, domain name registration, web design and online marketing services to more than 400,000 customers worldwide. Founded in 1998, the company positions itself as being one of the five largest web hosting companies in the world and has offices in Chicago; Tampa, Austin, Vancouver, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Frankfurt, Hannover, Sydney and Mumbai.
