R1Soft, Hostway Extend Partnership for Secure, Automated Backups
February 28, 2009 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – R1Soft announced today that Hostway Corporation, one of the largest hosting companies in the world, has achieved the status of an Elite Hosting Partner with the purchase of an R1Soft Elite Hosting License. Hostway offers R1Soft Continuous Data Protection. (CDP) as an upscale backup solution for self-managed dedicated servers, managed hosting, and enterprise data protection and recovery.
Hostway and R1Soft have been working together for over a year on internal backup solutions for Hostway’s enterprise-class managed services. The flexibility and reliability of Continuous Data Protection. was established in high-volume, real world operations throughout several of Hostway’s state-of-the-art data centers in North America. With the extended relationship, Hostway will make R1Soft CDP services available globally in data centers in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Korea, and Australia.

The new products will be rolled out immediately and include managed backup services both inside Hostway data centers and to enterprise servers located remotely, as well as a new customized Continuous Data Protection Center for demanding customer specific backup applications. Leveraging its extensive global data center and network footprint, Hostway will offer optional off-site configuration of the backup and restore facilities for the ultimate in protection and reliability.
