January 11, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – In a bid to streamline operations, Mpower Communications Corporation (http://www.mpowercom.com), a broadband communications and telephony and data services provider offering web hosting and Internet access, today announced changes to its senior management.

Wirth the retirement of Roger Pachuta, Senior Vice President of Network Services, Russell Shipley, currently President of Mpower’s Wholesale Services division, will become responsible for Mpower's Network Services. Shipley has substantial experience in network services management and was also a key player in developing the company’s wireless broadband capability.
"We are confident that we can leverage Russ' substantial IP network background as we begin an extensive rollout of our new facilities-based VoIP product across all our markets this quarter," said Huff. "We will be making more announcements about this rollout in the near term. Russ will continue to lead our efforts in the wireless broadband area."
