Hybrid Cloud Data Protection Solutions Provider Acronis Makes Free Cloud Storage Available to SMBs
Hybrid cloud data protection solutions provider Acronis is making 2TB of free cloud storage available to SMBs. Acronis, which has headquarters in Burlington, Massachusetts, United States, was established in 2003. The company specializes in “backup, disaster recovery, and secure file sync and share solutions” for hybrid cloud data protection, with data held in “ultra-secure, Tier-IV designed and SSAE-16 compliant local data centers”.

Acronis’ services are underpinned by the Acronis AnyData Engine which “delivers easy, complete and affordable data protection of all files, applications and operating systems across any environment” regardless of whether it is stored in a virtual, physical, cloud mobile environment. Acronis is offering free cloud storage as a “limited-time” promotion offer to users of version 11.7 of its Acronis Backup solution and the recently launched version 12. The promotion is current and ends on September 30, 2016. It is available to customers that “buy or renew” services on subscriptions of up to 3 years.

"Today’s SMBs are struggling to keep up with the growing volume of data to backup, while making sure it’s protected from constant threats like ransomware," explained Acronis’ Chief Marketing Officer, John Zanni. "As part of today’s announcement, we’re putting the call out to all SMBs to make sure they have complete protection in place no matter where their data resides, while ensuring they keep multiple backups available at all times."
