Hybrid Hosting Company UnitedLayer Adds Jim Tennant as Channel Chief
Hybrid hosting company UnitedLayer has added Jim Tennant as its Channel Chief. The company, which has headquarters in San Francisco, California, USA, provides enterprise-grade cloud, disaster recovery, and colocation solutions alongside its hybrid solutions. It maintains data centers across the United States and Canada and its customers include Fortune 500 companies in a range of industries. Mr. Tennant joins UnitedLayer as Vice President of Channel Sales after a 25-year career that has seen him in a number of roles.

Much of his career has been spent working for Fortune 500 companies including XO Communications, AT&T, and Verizon. He has been involved in channel management since 2007, and has been involved in establishing Channel Partners for a number of companies. The programs he developed have been leveraged by companies such as Intelisys, MicroCorp, BCM, Avant, and WTG, as well as distributors ScanSource and Ingram Micro. At UnitedLayer, Mr. Tennant will be in charge of enhancing its channel partner activity, including offering training, marketing, and technical support across the United States.
