Leaseweb USA) has acquired managed hosting solutions and services provider ServInt. Leaseweb USA is the US arm of Leaseweb Global and its family of subsidiaries that include Leaseweb Netherlands, Leaseweb Asia, Leaseweb CDN, Leaseweb Germany, Leaseweb Australia Ltd. and Leaseweb UK Ltd. The Leaseweb group offers a range of services including public and private cloud, dedicated servers, colocation, and cyber security options. It caters to 17,500 predominantly business customers globally. Financial aspects of Leaseweb USA’s acquisition of ServInt have yet to be released.
ServInt, which has headquarters in Reston, Virginia, United States was established in 1995 and is very much a hosting and internet pioneer. The company is recognized for its web hosting and managed cloud IT hosting services that include end-to-end solutions for public, private and hybrid cloud-based offerings that leverage AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. Its services extend to data privacy options and other professional services. Acquiring ServInt extends Leaseweb USA’s footprint and adds more US customers to its books. It also enhances the company’s expertise in the third-party managed services market.
