Limestone Networks Inc. (Limestone Networks) has announced the launch of OnePortal Rapid. Limestone Networks has headquarters in Dallas, Texas, United States and offers a wide range of products and services. These extend to on-demand dedicated, cloud and hybrid hosting as well as colocation options. Its offerings feature round-the-clock technical support as well as “multi-layered physical security, triple redundancy, and premium bandwidth carriers”. OnePortal Rapid is a “new public cloud computing service”.
OnePortal Rapid allows Limestone Networks’ hosting customers to use “cloud and bare-metal server hosting” through a “developer friendly, feature rich platform based on the open-source Openstack software”. Alongside instant provisioning, the solution offers “complete hosting automation through a standard API” and a number of applications. The OnePortal Rapid platform leverages Solid State Disks (SSD) and users can also utilize magnetic disk-backed virtual machines. To ensure zero downtime, data is replicated and can be restored from three different servers “regardless of the storage media used”. Payment is made on a “pay-as-you-go” basis starting at only $0.02 per hour.
