Indian web host ZNetLive has deployed Plesk 12 providing significant benefit to its resellers. The award winning company, which caters to a global customer base located in “over 125 countries”, bills itself as “India’s second largest web hosting company”. It was established in 2001 and has US-based data centers in Dallas, Seattle and Washington D.C., as well as Indian centers in Hyderabad and Bangalore. The company offers a range of services including VPS and cloud hosting alongside dedicated server options and domain name registration - the company is an ICANN accredited domain registrar.
ZNetLive’s move towards Plesk 12 has “improved manpower efficiency” for its reseller partners “by 50%”. Plesk 12 is the latest iteration of the Plesk secure web server and website management solution. Its use has allowed ZNetLive’s reseller partners to become more competitive in areas like the cloud, and its ease of use has improved their efficiency.
Plesk 12 gives administrators “complete access to account management capabilities” and simplifies account management. In addition, it makes server and platform migration faster and more efficient, while enhancing IT resource visibility (resellers can now manage all their customer accounts through a single interface).
“One of our key customer segments are resellers,” explained ZNetLive’s Senior System Administrator, Umesh Dubey.”We came to realize that for these companies managing the day-to-day operations of the business can be a challenge, especially when all they had was a website panel that offered very little functionality.”
