Infrastructure Management Solutions Provider StrataCloud Strengthens Executive Team
Infrastructure management solutions provider StrataCloud has strengthened its executive team with the addition of Steve Cundill and Heather Foster. The appointment comes in the wake of Brian Cohen recently joining the company as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Cundill becomes Vice President of Channel Sales and Alliances while Ms. Foster becomes Vice President of Marketing. The move is continuation of the company's policy of "aggressive transformation" and all three new members of the StrataCloud team will be responsible for extending the company's reach in the "unified infrastructure management" market.

With headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, StrataCloud was established in 2008. Its flagship solution is "Virtualization Management Center" which is utilized by a wide range of customers including large corporations like Citigroup and E*TRADE. The solution helps companies manage performance, plan and manage capacity and availability, and analyze root cause issues. The company is making partnerships with resellers, integrators and technology partners to address its move into the unified infrastructure management arena. The company has traditionally been involved in direct sales, but is now developing a genuine channel partner network.

Mr. Cundill's last position before joining StrataCloud was at hardware and software reseller and integrator Softchoice where he was Vice President of Sales for the US East Region. At Softchoice he was in charge of designing and implementing solutions from a number of vendors including Cisco, HP, IBM, NetApp, and VMware.

Ms. Foster was most recently Vice President of Marketing at payment security and compliance company ControlScan. Her responsibility at the company was establishing and executing marketing strategy and in charge of product branding and messaging.

“Steve and Heather are perfect additions to our management team,” explained Brian Cohen. “They bring leadership and experience in enterprise sales and marketing, key assets we require to achieve our goals. I’m excited to welcome them and look forward to their leadership in designing and implementing our plans to make unified infrastructure management easier and smarter for our customers and partners.”
