Infrastructure software platform provider BlueData, Inc.(BlueData) and IT infrastructure distributor
Networld have partnered on Big-Data-as-a-Service (BDaaS) options in Japan. BlueData, which has headquarters in Santa Clara, California, United States, was established in 2012. The company uses its own patent-pending technology alongside an infrastructure software platform that leverages Docker container technology to offers services that "make it easier, faster, and more cost-effective to deploy Hadoop, Spark, and other Big Data frameworks". Its BDaaS options operate either in public clouds or on its customers' premises. The partnership will see Networld resell BlueData's services.
Networld, which has headquarters in Tokyo, Japan and sales offices in Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Tokyo, Japan, is one of Japan's leading IT infrastructure solution distributors with around 2,000 resellers. The company's products include network hardware and software alongside server hardware, virtual servers, and Internet/intranet security products. The company also provides system software and storage products. Networld will "promote, market, sell, deploy, and support BlueData EPIC software in Japan" for "Dell EMC, HPE, Cisco, Nutanix, and any other on-premises infrastructure".
