Web Host Internet America Expands Services into VoIP

March 18, 2005 - (HOSTSEARCH.COM) - Internet America, an Internet services provider, announced today the release of NetVOICE, a digital phone service using Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP).

NetVOICE pairs Digital Telephone Service with Internet America's high-speed broadband service to allow customers to make and receive calls using their Internet connection.

"We are very excited to be expanding our product offerings into the voice arena," said Billy Ladin, CEO of Internet America. "Our NetVOICE offering will offer the marketplace a higher quality telephone service at a fraction of the cost traditional phone companies charge. We are very excited to launch this product as it will allow us to increase the average revenue per subscriber, as well as the number of new subscribers that we are able to acquire."

The subscription price starts at $14.95 a month.
