September 21, 2005 - (HOSTSEARCH.COM) - Probably best known for its popular InvBoard forum, Invision Power Services, Inc. is currently involved in the development of a new product called Invision Power Nexus - a billing solution designed for online businesses which manages product sales and provides a sales platform for hosting services. Nexus allows hosting providers to manage multiple servers without editing configuration files and automatically allocates hosting accounts across a number of servers (therefore distributing load across a network). Other features include automatic upgrade/downgrade, bandwidth purchasing, and suspend/unsuspend for billing. The system will have a dedicated server module enabling providers to give customers freedom to customize server orders. Written in PHP, Nexus utilizes either MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle databases. The product will be under beta testing soon.
