SnapLogic Inc. (SnapLogic) has been listed in Gartner, Inc’s (Gartner's) 2016 "Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Integration Platform as a Service, Worldwide" listing. SnapLogic, which has headquarters in San Mateo, California, United States, bills itself as “the industry's first unified data and application integration iPaaS company. Its Elastic Integration Platform unifies data and application integration and allows companies to “connect to any source, at any speed, anywhere” regardless of whether it is made in a hybrid cloud, in the cloud, or on a company’s premises. The solution also streams data between cloud applications like ServiceNow and Salesforce and to on-premises solutions like SAP and Oracle.
American research company Gartner has headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, United States. Established in 1979, the company is involved in technology research and bills itself as providing the “technology-related insight necessary for our clients to make the right decisions”. The company is a partner to 10,000 enterprises globally. It produces the “Gartner Magic Quadrant”, regular reports that offer qualitative analysis of technology markets and gives some indication where they might be headed in the future. Gartner believes integration platform will overtake more traditional application integration technologies by 2019.
Gartner included SnapLogic in its Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Integration Platform as a Service, Worldwide because it has been proven to improve existing capabilities while expanding market share across “new channels and through industry or geographic expansion strategies”. As with other companies in the quadrant, SnapLogic is able to recognize the technology the enterprise iPaaS market needs, and recognize the market’s “adoption patterns, use cases and industry impact”.
