Web Hosting Provider IPOWER Leases New Data Center
August 8, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider IPOWER (http://www.ipower.com) has leased a new data center, the company announced recently. The center is located in Phoenix, USA and has “over $7 million dollars of built-in infrastructure.”
IPOWER’s 32,000+ square-foot data center has a range of amenities including proximity card reader and centralized security monitoring, managed smart card entrance into controlled zones, video intercom system and biometric hand scanners for security. The center also offers monitoring of 2000 data points through a Datatrax Monitoring System, direct APS feed and ac/dc power backup through a CAT 2000 ekW, 2500 KVA standby generator. In addition the center has a range of environmental controls.
