IT infrastructure management provider
ScienceLogic has been chosen to provide IT systems monitoring for data center company Equinix. Equinix will utilize ScienceLogic’s unified monitoring platform as a means of improving efficiencies throughout its IT operations.
Equinix manages customer and partner connections through data centers in 31 locations across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa and Asia-Pacific. The company deals with around 4,000 companies worldwide. The implementation of ScienceLogic will allow Equinix to monitor IT infrastructure and enable employees to work more effectively.
Equinix previously used a range of monitoring solutions which failed to entirely meet its needs. Equinix chose ScienceLogic's infrastructure management platform based on its ease of use, ability to monitor information assets and provide infrastructure visibility, alongside its ticket management capability (including seamless integration with the global ServiceNow ticketing system). “The openness of the ScienceLogic platform allowed us to use it where we needed it most, as a global IT infrastructure monitoring solution,” explained Brian Lillie, CIO at Equinix. “I am very happy with the ScienceLogic solution.”
