IT infrastructure services provider TierPoint LLC (
TierPoint) will expand its data center in Nashville, Texas, United States, significantly enhancing its capacity. TierPoint, which has headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri, United States, offers a range of services including data center services, disaster recovery, business continuity and other managed services including multi-tenant, private and hybrid cloud solutions. The company will spend $20 million on its expansion of the facility.
TierPoint’s data center is located in Franklin, Missouri and is “the only Tier 3 certified in the region”. Through a partnership with Compass Data Centers, the company will increase the facility’s size to 53,000 square feet and approximately 26,000 square feet of raised floor space – effectively doubling its capacity. The facility will also offer 2.4 megawatts of power. The expansion is due to be completed by mid-2017.
"This expansion will further enhance our ability to meet strong customer demand for hybrid IT solutions, evidenced by that fact that we've already pre-sold nearly 20 percent of the available space in this next phase," explained the area’s Regional Vice President for TierPoint, Bradley Markum. "As Nashville's leading provider of cloud, colocation and managed services, we now offer new and current customers more expansion and backup capabilities - even as we continue adding clients to our current facility."
