IT services provider Getronics Group (Getronics) has acquired infrastructure solutions and managed services provider
Pomeroy. Getronics, which has headquarters in Reading, Berkshire, United Kingdom, is a Global Workspace Alliance member and part of the ICT Services group (alongside Connectis). The organization has been in business for over 125 years and has “4,500 employees in 22 countries across Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America”. It offers a suite of integrated ICT services for companies and the public sector. These services extend to managed services, data center and cloud offerings, and consulting services. Its acquisition of Pomeroy comes on the heels of a successful five-year partnership with the company.
Pomeroy, previously a Clearlake Capital Group, L.P. company, has headquarters in Hebron, Kentucky, United States and was established in 1982. The company provides “mission-critical infrastructure solutions and managed services to middle market and enterprise customers”. These include services that help its customers “leverage digital workplace transformation to enhance competitive advantage”. Alongside 50,000 locations in North America, the company has a presence in 23 countries. Its suite of services extends to data center and cloud services alongside workplace and network services.
