Jetpack provider Automattic has partnered with Indian managed WordPress provider
MilesWeb Internet Services Pvt Ltd. (MilesWeb). MilesWeb, which has headquarters in Nashik, Maharashtra, India, was established in 2012. The company, which has servers in India and the United States, bills itself as an “authoritative web hosting company that offers high-caliber web hosting solutions”. Its services include traditional web hosting alongside ecommerce, VPS, cloud, reseller and dedicated server hosting. MilesWeb also specializes in WordPress hosting options. As a result of the partnership, its customers will receive Jetpack Premium or Professional at no additional cost.
Automattic provides Jetpack, WordPress.com, and WooCommerce as part of its suite of services. Jetpack enhances WordPress – an Open Source Content Management System (CMS) which supports over a quarter of all websites on the Internet. Jetpack’s features increase the software’s design, marketing, and security capabilities, offering features like stats and analytics tools, automated social media posting, and scheduling options. Jetpack also offers security protection, guarding against brute force attacks, spam and malware. Additionally, it also provides regular site backups. This is Jetpack’s first partnership with a provider in India.
Depending on the plan they purchase, MilesWeb’s customers will now receive either Jetpack Premium (worth $99) or Jetpack Professional (worth $299) at no extra cost. The deal is available to current and new customers. The solution’s features will be available directly through a customers’ account panel. “Jetpack provides a wealth of benefits’” suggested Chetan Mahale, the Founder and Director of MilesWeb. “CDN, in-depth website statistics, downtime monitoring, and many other enhancements brought us to partner with Jetpack and offer something different to our WordPress users in India.”
