Jim Jackson has joined cloud Operating System (OS) provider
CloudLinux. CloudLinux has international headquarters in Arcadia, California, United States and is recognized as providing a highly secure and stable version of the Linux OS. This software is used by numerous web hosts, especially companies involved in shared hosting. Mr. Jackson joins the company as President and Chief Revenue Officer.
Mr. Jackson is an industry veteran with more than three decades of experience. He has been involved in a range of areas including marketing, sales, and business operations and services development. He has also been involved in providing ‘Big Data’, security, and disaster recovery services and as data protection and business intelligence services. He has degrees in software engineering and business management from Purdue University and joins CloudLinux from Parallels company Virtuozzo where he was Chief Operating Officer.
Prior to Virtuozzo he held executive positions at a number of companies including Symantec, VERITAS Software, and AT&T. At CloudLinux he will oversee the company’s global business development and sales and marketing activity. He will report to Igor Seletskiy, the CEO of CloudLinux. “I am thrilled to be joining the CloudLinux team at this pivotal time in their history”, suggested Mr. Jackson. “Continued innovation in the security product suite is providing fantastic growth potential for the company, and I look forward to helping drive that growth.”
