April 5, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – K2 Colocation (http://www.k2colocation.com) has announced a partnership with web hosting provider XO Communications. The partnership will enable K2 Colocation to resell XO Communications’ data center infrastructure.
The agreement between the two companies represents a pilot program for XO and if successful could lead to the company offering partnerships to other co-location resellers in the future.
Alongside web hosting XO is a telecommunications provider with solutions for businesses, agents and carriers which include phone services, DSL, Dedicated Internet Access (DIA), and advanced network security solutions. The XO Internet backbone network serves 75 U.S. major metropolitan areas. K2 Colocation has existing partnerships with Switch and Data and Internap Network services. Their agreement with XO will offer the company greater market presence.
