Web Hosting Provider Macquarie Hosting Signs Three-year Deal with truelocal.com.au |

October 16, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider Macquarie Hosting (http://www.macquarietelecom.com/hosting) has signed a three-year deal with truelocal.com.au, it was announced today. The company will host truelocal.com.au’s online search directory - one of Australia’s fastest growing online business directories with listings for over 1.3 million Australian businesses.
The number of truelocal.com.au visitors has increased substantially since its launch in 2006 and intensive competitive analysis established Macquarie Hosting as best suited to cater for its growth. Macquarie will provide a “high-availability fully-managed hosting solution employing a sophisticated virtual server infrastructure running the VMware ESX environment”. The servers will be housed in the Intellicentre - Macquarie Hosting’s ISO and DSD Gateway certified data centre in Sydney.
As part of a select group of global hosting providers in the VMware Service Provider Program, the Macquarie platform will increase server capacity to cope with peaks in truelocal.com.au traffic without additional hardware investment and ensures a fast and smooth user experience for the site’s millions of visitors.
