Managed application and cloud hosting services provider Cartika Inc. (
Cartika) has announced the launch of a new premium partner program. Cartika has headquarters in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and specializes in application hosting and advanced clustering technologies. Its offerings include cloud computing, virtualization services, and managed hosting options. The company’s new program is designed to enable resellers to expand IT offerings and give partners “full control over their client environments with 24x7 proactive managed services and support”.
Cartika has decided not to focus on reseller shared hosting because of the “evolving nature of its clients and partners”. Given that shared hosting is in decline as a result of increased cloud performance and cost-effectiveness, the program will supersede its former shared hosting model. The Premium Partner Program enables partners to manage their customers while Cartika address ongoing infrastructure management tasks and support. The program also gives partners access to add-on solutions that broaden their portfolio and increase revenue by on-demand IT services.
“A significant portion of the company’s business comes from our large and growing network of partners,” explained Andrew Rouchotas, the CEO of Cartika. “The new program we have launched includes our Proactive Management package which means Cartika will fully manage the environment with 24x7 'live' support.” He added, “Whether it’s building a SaaS business, or creating world-class websites, this new model will let our partners focus on what they do best instead of worrying about the underlying infrastructure, and routine tasks such as monitoring, patching, security, and backups.”
