Managed Cloud Company Peak Hosting Adds SolidFire Storage
Managed cloud company Peak Hosting has announced the addition of SolidFire storage to its services. Peak Hosting, whose head offices are in Portland, Oregon, United States, provides a range of services including an “Operations-as-a-Service” offering which allows its customers to manage their operations departments. The company “takes care of the servers, storage, network and security” to allow its customers to “focus on their core business”. The addition of the SolidFire platform significantly increases reliability and performance for Peak Hosting’s customers.

SolidFire, which has headquarters in Boulder, Colorado, United States, specializes in all-flash data center storage solutions which guarantee the storage performance of applications within a shared infrastructure. Adding SolidFire’s platform to its data center infrastructure allows Peak Hosting to offer customers “simplicity, speed, scalability, reliability and guaranteed Quality of Service (QoS)”. Both Peak Hosting and SolidFire will monitor customer environments to establish whether customers are approaching capacity or performance thresholds. If so, they recommend immediate storage scaling as a solution.

“At Peak Hosting, we have always focused heavily upfront on the design of our customers’ hosting architecture to meet their complex requirements,” explained Peak Hosting’s Vice President, Engineering, Jon Billow. “Adding SolidFire as part of our AlwaysUp SAN portfolio allows us to further meet our customers’ performance expectations for their storage in a measurable and accountable way.”
