Rackspace has announced the general availability of its ‘Managed Cloud for Adobe Experience Manager’ (AEM) solution in the ‘East’ and ‘West’ United States, European Union and Asia Pacific Amazon Web Services (AWS) regions.
Rackspace helps companies benefit from the cloud without the need to manage IT infrastructure and application platforms themselves. The company utilizes solutions developed by companies such as OpenStack, VMware, AWS, and Microsoft to deliver services to a 300,000-strong customer base. Its new AEM solution “simplifies and accelerates AEM deployments for digital marketing leaders”. The company plans general availability for other regions in early 2016.
AEM is a Content Management solution that facilitates content and asset delivery and management. Leveraging AWS, Rackspace’s AEM solution provides a platform for the hosting, configuration and operation of Experience Manager. Traditionally AEM deployments take a significant amount of time to establish, but using Rackspace’s new platform they can be achieved in “as little as thirty minutes”. AEM offers ongoing technical support and users can clone their existing environments quickly and easily, allowing “developers and marketing leaders to produce sites even quicker than before”.
