In his new role Mr. Meredith will report to Rackspace’s new CEO Joe Eazor (who starts in his new position June 12, 2017). He will be in charge of Rackspace’s single-tenant activity and in charge of product strategy and investments. In his career he has also held roles at China’s NeuPals, Capital One, CGI and VeriSign.

“As a pioneer in the managed hosting business, Rackspace is strongly positioned to succeed in a market where businesses want help moving out of their legacy data centers so they can be more strategic in their IT operations,” explained Mr. Meredith on the company’s bolg. “I’m pleased to be joining the Rackspace team at such an exciting time in the company’s history, and in the industry overall.
