Managed Cloud Computing Company Rackspace Wins Stevie Award
Managed cloud computing company Rackspace has won a ‘Stevie’ award. Rackspace, which has headquarters in Windcrest, Texas, United States, was established in 1998. A globally recognized brand, the company specializes in helping companies “tap the power of cloud computing” while enabling them to avoid excessive cost. The company provides solutions that leverage technologies developed by, amongst others, AWS, Google, Microsoft, OpenStack, and VMware. Rackspace won a Bronze Stevie in this year’s Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards. Winners will receive their awards at a ceremony held at the Westin Hotel in Sydney, Australia on May 27, 2016.

The Stevie Awards are an annual event recognizing “outstanding performances in the workplace worldwide”. Around 10,000 from companies from across the world apply for the awards every year and are judged by and the 200 executives that make up the awards’ judges. This year’s Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards recognize organizations in 17 countries and finalists were chosen from 600 entries. Rackspace was recognized for Innovation in Customer Service Management. The company was seen to differentiate itself through its “Fanatical Support” customer service.
