ServInt has introduced the Custom Shop Ordering System. Part of ServInt’s new PowerPartner program, the Custom Shop allows hosting resellers to quickly and easily provision servers.
Web-hosting resellers often resell hosting services to smaller customers who are often in niche markets. Being in niche markets, they have specific requirements that bigger web hosting providers find difficult to meet. ServInt’s Custom Shop allows resellers to set up pages where they can order servers with the specific configurations (including specific software, hardware and “add-on” configurations). Once established, they simply clone the saved configuration by clicking an ‘order’ button.
Custom Shop utilizes ServInt’s SimpleScale virtualization software, which is built on Parallels’ Virtuozzo Containers. The solution allows immediate cloning of server configurations saved in the Custom Shop, which allows resellers to quickly and easily establish their own products and services for resale to customers.
