Bluelock has gained a number of industry certifications. A US-based company, Bluelock operates SSAE Type II SOC 2 certified Tier 3 and Tier 4 datacenter facilities in a number of locations. It was recently audited and gained SAP certification. It also complies with the US-EU Safe Harbor Framework. These certifications indicate Bluelock's ability to cater for companies with "high-potential" and "high-risk workloads".

Alongside its certification, in the wake of VMware’s launch of the VMware vCloud Air Network, Bluelock has achieved "VMware Hybrid Cloud Powered" status, underscoring its ability to provide customers with VMware-based solutions. The company has also been involved in training partners on its Recovery-as-a-Service (RaaS) options through its Bluelock’s RaaS Certification Program. In addition, Bluelock's Bluelock Portfolio™ cloud cost analysis tool has gained traction by allowing users to make better decisions regarding their transition to a cloud infrastructure through provision of data on resource usage and expenditure. The tool is unique in that it provides data on historical usage.
