Managed Cloud Services Provider Contegix Buys Cloud Service Provider BlackMesh
Managed cloud services provider Contegix has bought cloud service provider BlackMesh, Inc (BlackMesh). Contegix, which has headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri, United States, was established in 2004. Alongside managed services the company focuses on cloud and application lifecycle management. The company leverages AWS and Azure to offer public clouds, but also provides private, and hybrid clouds alongside IaaS and PaaS options. The financial aspects of Contegix’s acquisition of BlackMesh have not been released, but the news comes on the heels of its acquisition of Kansas City-based cloud and managed services provider Admo.net Web Services, LLC in December 2016.

With headquarters in Ashburn, Virginia, United States, BlackMesh was established in 2003. The company specializes in the “design, deployment, and administration of managed hosting solutions, both dedicated and cloud-based”. It also offers a number of Magento and WordPress options. The company has a number of federal security and compliance certifications. Together the two entities will cater for 1,200 public and private sector customers and offer leadership in the area of DevOps application management.

“The addition of BlackMesh is a significant leap forward for Contegix and our customers,” explained Contegix’s CEO, David Turner. “BlackMesh’s advanced web content management capabilities, coupled with their federal security and compliance certifications, align very well with our existing portfolio of application management services designed for the DevOps community. At the same time, our shared commitment to ‘white glove’ service will ensure that we continue to go beyond for our clients.”
