Managed Cloud Services Provider Datapipe Receives Award
September 28, 2017
Managed cloud services provider Datapipe has received a major award, being recognized as the winner of the 2017 Cloud Computing Security Excellence Award in the cloud security category. Datapipe, which has headquarters in Jersey City, New Jersey, United States, provides a range of services including multi-platform hybrid IT solutions and cloud, compliance, security, governance, automation and DevOps solutions. It was recognized for its Datapipe Access and Audit Control for the Cloud (DAACC) solution.
The DAACC solution allows companies to benefit from Datapipe’s managed public cloud offerings “without having to share administrator-level credentials”. The solution offers robust levels of security and high levels of control through role-based access and tracking. A “seamless solution, requiring no extra steps or oversight after initial deployment”, it monitors “the accountability and actions of all users”, drastically reducing the risk of unauthorized access and data breaches. This is the third year in a row Datapipe has been recognized by the Cloud Computing Security Excellence Award.
Managed by Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC), the Cloud Computing Security Excellence Award recognizes organizations with cloud security and cloud-delivered security products that “have most effectively leveraged cloud computing in their efforts to bring new, differentiated offerings to market”. The award comes after Datapipe’s most recent success at the ‘Stevie Awards’ earlier this year.
“Datapipe is a trusted partner for enterprise organizations on their journey to the cloud,” explained the CEO and founder of Datapipe, Robb Allen. “A vital part of that mission is safeguarding our customers’ data across multiple cloud platforms. We developed DAACC as a best practice for multi-cloud security that provides a granular level of accountability for our customers’ environments.”
