Rapidscale has added Kevin Costello as a board member. Rapidscale, which has headquarters in Irvine, California, United States, provides a wide range of cloud computing solutions including its CloudServer, CloudDesktop, CloudOffice, CloudMail, CloudRecovery, and CloudApps solutions. Rapidscale caters to a global customer base which includes companies of a range of sizes. Its proprietary managed CloudDesktop platform is utilized by “MSOs, VARs, MSPs, Carriers and Master Agents throughout the United States”.
Mr. Costello brings 25 years to his new position on Rapidscale’s Board of Directors. A RapidScale investor, he was previously President of Palo Alto, California-based software and information technology services company Ariba, Inc. before its sale to SAP. A ‘Certified Public Accountant’, he has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois. He is also on the Rackspace Board of Directors and on the boards of Rainmaker Group and Vantiv. He is also Chairman of the Board at FinancialForce.com and HotSchedules.
“In order to become a leader in managed cloud services, you must surround the business with proven leaders, and Kevin is just the proven leader we need in the areas of cloud and application services,” explained Randy Jeter, the CEO and co-founder of RapidScale.
