Managed cloud services provider
RapidScale and hybrid IT infrastructure management leader ScienceLogic have formed a partnership. RapidScale offers a range of services including Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud computing and Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) offerings. The company also provides its proprietary CloudServer, CloudDesktop, CloudOffice, CloudMail, CloudRecovery, and CloudApps services. It has headquarters in Irvine, California, United States. RapidScale will work with ScienceLogic on the provision of advanced managed cloud services.
ScienceLogic, which has headquarters in Reston, Virginia, United States, was established in 2003. The company it is “a leader in hybrid IT infrastructure management”, offering IT solutions that provide total Amazon Web Services (AWS) visibility and insights that allow users to “resolve and predict problems faster”. The company’s offerings contextualize data and monitor cloud and distributed architectures. ScienceLogic’s customers include the United States Department of Defense and around “20,000 global service providers, enterprises, and government organizations”.
The partnership will lead to a “monitoring, performance and security solution for RapidScale global managed cloud services” combining RapidScale’s managed cloud solutions and ScienceLogic’s hybrid IT platform. The solution will give users a real-time dashboard that monitors RapidScale’s managed cloud performance and provides on-premises infrastructure visibility.
“We are very excited to be partnering with ScienceLogic for our platform monitoring, event handling, and ticketing needs,” explained RapidScale’s Senior Vice President, Technology, Duane Barnes. “As we’ve expanded our global platform, our needs have evolved to the point where we need a flexible company to partner with in order to take our feedback and immediately add it into their product development lifecycle. ScienceLogic gives us the ability to customize our digital run books to our customers’ exact needs.”
