RapidScale has made Mark Szotkowski the company’s Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). With headquarters in Irvine, California, United States, RapidScale was established in 2008. The company has a presence in a number of US cities including an office in Raleigh, North Carolina which opened earlier this year. Its services extend to Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud computing and Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) options, including its proprietary CloudServer, CloudDesktop, CloudOffice, CloudMail, CloudRecovery, and CloudApps services. Mr. Szotkowski will now be in charge of RapidScale’s merger and acquisition activity.
Mark Szotkowski is a 22-year industry veteran that joined RapidScale in 2012. Prior to this his career included owning and operating a voice and data consulting company. He was also Vice President of National Accounts at Irvine-based telecommunications company PAETEC (now part of Windstream). Before becoming the company’s CSO, Mr. Szotkowski was President of Sales and in charge of managing RapidScale’s Sales and Operations teams. His latest role will see Mr. Szotkowski focus on expanding RapidScale’s strategic initiatives with particular focus on mergers and acquisitions and building global strategic partnerships.

In his new role he will lead our acquisition strategy and help operationalize the company for future acquisitions.”
