May 23, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Managed service provider Peak 10 (http://www.peak10.com) and onsite disaster recovery company Agility Recovery Solutions (http://www.agilityrecovery.com) have integrated disaster recovery and business continuity services in preparation for this year’s hurricane season, it was announced yesterday.
“Complacency is the enemy of recovery in the IT world. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 – November 30 and around ten storms are named per year. Hurricane experts predict that this season around 13-17 named storms may occur and there is a high chance of a major hurricane hitting the United States. The partnership between Peak 10 and Agility enables Peak 10’s customers to recover their business operations in a “fully configured mobile office environment virtually anywhere”. “Once the secure connection is made, a client’s employees are able to reconnect with customers or clients, make transactions and basically resume all normal business operations,” added the President and Chief Executive Officer of Agility, Mr. Bob Boyd. “Together with Peak 10, we offer business a total recovery strategy.”
