Reliam LLC (Reliam) has acquired G2 Tech Group. Reliam, which has headquarters in Los Angeles, California, United States, was established in 2001. The company offers a broad range of services including public cloud and hybrid solutions packages, and managed web and application hosting alongside managed AWS, Azure and Google Cloud options. It is owned by Boston-based private equity firm Great Hill Partners. The acquisition will enhance Reliam’s AWS cloud and managed DevOps services capability.
G2 Tech Group has headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts, United States and was established in 2009. Alongside managed services and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) automation services the company offers virtualization, cloud architecting, and managed DevOps options that are linked to cloud computing. It is recognized by AWS as having expertise in areas like healthcare and the life sciences. Reliam’s acquisition of G2 Tech Group is its second in recent times and follows its purchase of Los Angeles-based Stratalux. Together the three companies will produce an entity with “considerable breadth and depth across AWS technical and strategic proficiencies – as well as a significantly expanded geographical footprint.” Financial aspects of the deal were not released.
