November 19, 2008 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Managed services provider Attenda (http://www.attenda.net) has joined the Microsoft BizSpark program (http://www.microsoft.com/BizSpark/) as a network partner, it was announced recently. Attenda’s “proven track record and capability in Critical Applications Hosting and Software as a Service (SaaS) provision” using Microsoft technology were key to the company being chosen for the program.

The Microsoft BizSpark Program focuses on Startups and offers a network of partners that “can provide mentorship, guidance and resources”. To enter the program, Startups must be “actively engaged in the development of a software-based product or service that is a core part of their business model, be in business less than three years and have less than US $1M in revenue”. The program provides Startups with “fast and easy access to Microsoft’s full-featured development tools and platform technologies” and facilitates access to production licenses.

“BizSpark is uniquely designed to help Startups engaged in software development, providing them with express access to Microsoft tools and technologies,” explained Attenda’s VP Products & Marketing, Mr. Simon Hansford. “Our role as a Network Partner is to assist and support high potential Startups in hosted application production and deployment.”

ISO9001, ISO20001 and ISO27001 accredited, Attenda bills itself as the “Always On Managed Services company”. The company manages “vital applications” for business customers, catering for 134 of the UK's leading companies - organizations like bmi, Christian Aid, easyCar, Microsoft, NHS, Princes, St. James’s Place and Travelodge.
