Trapp Technology has acquired web host and cloud provider Brinkster Communications Corporation. Trapp Technology, which has headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, United States, specializes in managed services and “the very best” cloud, VoIP and IaaS solutions. The company caters to customers who “seek to cut IT costs and leverage technology to grow revenues”. Financial aspects of the deal were not released.
Trapp Technology’s acquisition underscores its expansion plans. Brinkster Communications Corporation, which also has headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, United States, is recognized as a “leading Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) provider”. Its services extend to public and private clouds, hybrid clouds, dedicated bare metal servers and VMware cloud solutions. The company also offers hosted desktop and backup solutions. The company offers a proprietary hardware platform which offers “a unique approach to cloud infrastructure” and is “changing the game in cloud hosting and reinventing the data center”. Brinkster caters to around 50,000 customers globally.
The acquisition adds additional IaaS and hosting services to Trapp Technology’s range of offerings and strengthens its position in the Arizona tech service market. Brinkster Communications Corporation customers will now have access to Trapp Technology’s cloud, Internet, and voice solutions, each of which is underpinned by high quality ongoing technical and customer service support.
