Managed Web Hosting Provider DataPipe Acquires San Jose Data Center

November 30, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Managed web hosting provider DataPipe has acquired AboveNet, Inc.’s San Jose Data Center, the company announced recently. “We’re very pleased to acquire this data center in the heart of Silicon Valley,” explained Mr. Robb Allen, Founder and CEO of DataPipe. “This is a truly world class facility and is home to 5 of the 15 most visited websites in the world.”

“We are experiencing rapid growth in all areas of our business,” added Mr. Allen. “The addition of the San Jose data center and our recently acquired data center in New Jersey will facilitate our ability to meet the demands of our clients for true TIER 4 infrastructure to support their mission critical business applications.”

DataPipe and AboveNet have established a transition plan that will allow ownership transition without service interruption and allow operational and administrative continuity. DH Capital, LLC served as exclusive financial advisor to DataPipe in connection with its acquisition.
