October 1, 2008 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – The readers of PC Pro have voted Memset (http://www.memset.com) the UK’s “Best Web Host” for the third year running, it was reported recently. Memset received the award on September 17, 2008 at the annual PC Pro Service and Reliability Awards. The awards offer 12 categories of “PC-related hardware, software and services” and are determined through a survey of “more than 20,000 individuals”.
“Memset follows up two web host awards in a row with yet another accolade, and it’s no wonder when you look at the figures,” suggested PC Pro magazine. “93% of its customers would recommend Memset to colleagues, compared to an average of 80%, and it also topped the charts for reliability. You even get six-star customer support thrown in.”
Alongside its Best Web Host achievement, Memset also received an “Environmental Innovator” award. The company was up against companies such as BT Global Services, Dell and Google in competing for the award. “Memset fits the bill perfectly,” explained the competition judges. “It embraced virtualization long before it became a buzzword, and created commercial web-hosting packages that made environmental and fiscal sense.”
