Microsoft Organizing Free Worldwide Road Show to Help IT Professionals and Architects Capitalize on IIS7

September 13, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Next year’s release of Windows Server 2008 and IIS7 has sharpened Microsoft’s (http://www.microsoft.com) focus on the hosting market and the company is planning to “prepare its hosting partners for this latest web server technology”. To do this, the company is organizing a “free worldwide road show” aimed at helping IT professionals and architects “capitalize on the advances of IIS7 and Windows Server 2008”.

The “road show” will include lectures, demonstrations and hands-on labs explaining the benefits of IIS7 and Windows Server 2008, which include reduced TCO, improved manageability, and new business opportunities. Dates for the road show have been announced as follows:

Alongside the road show, Microsoft is allowing hosting providers to test IIS7’s new functionality by taking part in the IIS7 Go Live license program, which will be integrated into Windows Server 2008. A number of hosting providers have already signed up for the program, including Applied Innovations., DiscountASP.net, HostMySite.com, MaximumASP LLC, and WebFusion.
