Microsoft services and cloud solutions provider
Planet Technologies has strengthened its executive team by adding new members. The company, which specializes in Microsoft technology integration and customization alongside "data center solutions for Federal, State and local government and commercial clients" has been awarded Microsoft Federal Partner of the Year a total of 6 times. The additions to its executive team are a result of significant growth.
Planet Technologies has engaged four industry veterans including Scott Gruenemeier as Senior Cloud Strategist, Jen Mason as Director of Innovation and Strategic Projects, Tod Tompkins as Director of Federal Operations and Business Development, and Kory Kellogg as Central Region Manager of Business Operations.
Mr. Gruenemeier has 16 years experience dealing with Microsoft solutions and spent three years at Microsoft itself. He has also worked as Lead Enterprise Architect at State of Washington central IT. He is responsible for "leveraging Microsoft cloud products to meet customer needs in the Western U.S. region". Mr. Mason was previously in charge of Microsoft Office 365 services at Rackspace and has 12 years experience consulting on SharePoint solutions. His responsibilities at Planet Technologies include "leading and advancing" Planet’s cloud productivity and application solution products. Mr. Tompkins led Microsoft Corporation's Federal account activity and has 20 years experience working for the Federal Government. Mr. Kellogg is responsible for the company's "customer deliverables". He was Microsoft Relationship Manager at a Microsoft education and training services organization prior to joining Planet Technologies. He has 20 years IT consulting and operational experience.
