Migration Service Company audriga Announces Service for Microsoft Exchange Migration
German migration service company audriga GmbH audriga GmbH, a spin-off of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and FZI Research Center for Information Technology, has announced a new software as a service application for Microsoft Exchange migration. Presented at the 2013 CeBIT trade fair, the solution is a response to Microsoft announcing the end of its Small Business Server service later in 2013. It is designed to enable users to migrate "groupware data" - including emails, contacts, calendars and tasks - to a new provider. It does not require software installation and can easily be configured.

audriga's solution is pre-configured for a number of providers, making transition of existing data a simple process. It also enables users to migrate data to their own servers and to Hosted Exchange services while enabling migration through different Microsoft Exchange versions (Microsoft Exchange 2007, 2010, and 2013) and to IMAP email accounts. All migrated data is copied as part of audriga's service, and is therefore available at both the old and the new provider once migration has taken place.

audriga's email migration service is utilized by a number of key web hosts, including Host Europe, and the company offers a white-label version for partners offering groupware migrations. The solution can also be integrated via a webhost's API. Other features that will be added to the solution include cross-migration options for those migrating to and from services such as Microsoft Exchange, Open-Xchange, and Google Apps.

Cross-platform migration is always tricky. What other migration solutions do you recommend? Add your comments below.
